Respectful interaction: We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable with us. Harassment – whether verbal, physical or sexual – has no place here. This includes inappropriate comments, unwanted physical contact or discriminatory remarks.
Physical contact in dance: Physical contact is part of partner dancing – but only within the context of the dance and with mutual consent. Intrusive or inappropriate touching is not acceptable.
We listen: If you feel uncomfortable or observe behaviour that does not fit in with our community, please contact our team in confidence or email us at info@bailamos-salsa.ch. We treat all concerns confidentially and with the utmost respect.
Respect in interaction: Always treat other dancers, teachers and team members with courtesy and respect. Every contribution is important.
Punctuality: To ensure that everything runs smoothly, please arrive on time for classes and events.
Hygiene & consideration: Good personal hygiene contributes to the well-being of everyone. Fresh clothing and deodorant are welcome on the dance floor.
Mindful dancing: Be aware of your surroundings when dancing. If a collision occurs accidentally, a friendly apology is a matter of course.
Everyone is welcome: We welcome people of all genders, sexual orientations, ages, body types, backgrounds, religions and abilities. Diversity makes us strong.
Lead or follow: With us, you decide which role you want to take on in the dance – and we respect your choice.
Dance requests: Saying ‘no’ to an invitation to dance is perfectly fine and should be accepted without question.
Feedback: If you would like to give feedback, please ask beforehand if it is welcome. Unsolicited advice can be perceived as intrusive.
Enjoy in moderation: If you drink alcohol, please be mindful of your limits – so that you and others can continue to dance safely.
No drugs: The use of illegal substances is not permitted at our events.
Together, we create a place full of joy, respect and passion for dance at Bailamos Salsa. Thank you for being part of this community!
