In the Basic 1 Intensive course, we teach the rhythmic basics of salsa, different variations of the basic step, as well as turns and figures. We emphasise a solid introduction to the couple dance: leadership and arm position are just as much a part of our curriculum as footwork.
In this intensive course, you will complete the Basic 1 course within a week. The course days (Monday to Friday) are close together, so you will make rapid progress and can practice what you have learned intensively every day. After the course, you can attend a regular Basic 2 course.
