In the Basic 1 Intensive course, we teach the rhythmic basics of salsa, different variations of the basic step, as well as turns and figures. We emphasise a solid introduction to the couple dance: leadership and arm position are just as much a part of our curriculum as footwork.

In this intensive course, you will complete the Basic 1 course in one weekend. The short interval between the course days (Saturday and Sunday) means you will make rapid progress and be able to practise intensively what you have learnt. After the course, you can attend a regular Basic 2 course.

Course Teachers

Our partner dance classes are always led by a pair of teachers. Styling classes can be led by individual teachers.

As soon as you have sent your registration, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail. This registration is final. You will be informed separately by e-mail of any course postponements. Without further correspondence, we will expect you at the course venue at the start of the course.
